Material, proportion, restraint

Mazzeo Mineral is an owner-led architectural finishes practice specializing in microcement, Tadelakt, lime plaster, and mineral surfaces.

We approach each surface as part of a larger composition—considering proportion, light, texture, transitions, and the way a space is experienced.

Based in South Florida, our practice brings together material, craft, and architecture. Collaboration with architects, designers, builders, and experienced specialty trades is central to our approach.

01

Microcement

Continuous finishes for walls, floors, stairs, bathrooms and built forms, developed around the selected system, substrate and conditions of use.

02

Tadelakt

Hand-worked lime surfaces with depth and quiet reflectance. Wet-area applications are resolved as a complete, product-specific assembly.

03

Lime + mineral plaster

Surfaces with nuanced color and texture for walls, ceilings and architectural elements.

The studio approach

A finish is only as sound as what sits beneath it.

Substrate, transitions, waterproofing, movement, curing, and sequencing are one problem—not separate trades to reconcile at the end.

A controlled process

Clarity before application.

Define

Establish the design intent, application, performance expectations, schedule, and responsible parties before the surface is specified.

Resolve

Review substrate, assembly, interfaces, terminations, waterproofing, samples, and compatibility with the selected manufacturer system.

Execute

Prepare, apply, protect, and cure the finish with deliberate sequencing and clear jobsite conditions.
